The farming process of the black Tahitian pearl. Numerous booths will be showcasing stunning French Polynesian art jewellry and handycrafts made with the black Tahitian pearl, mother of pearl and shells. The marriage between the vanilla plant flower to the pode of the famous Vanilla from Tahiti, how to use the vanilla bean in cuisine. You will taste our tropical fruit juices and beverages.
You will experience numerous interactive activities and participate in demonstrations on craft, Polynesian quilting, wearing pareos, carving, making and using monoï and the beautiful Tahitian dancing.
Come and stimulate your senses by pampering yourself with monoï, exquisite fragrances and local cosmetics.
Come and vibrate while admiring the passionate Polynesian dance shows with 20 professional Tahitian dancers and musicians who will entertain you at the 4th day festival. The group O TAHITI E won the 130th Heiva, the annual dancing and singing competition in French Polynesian in 2012.
Come and watch films and documentaries about French Polynesia (from the FIFO festival), that will be presented each day.
Admire the photo exhibition (33 panels with English, French and Tahitian captions), lent by the Department of Culture and Patrimony, French Polynesia.
